History
Gen-L represents the three generations of the Linehan family in the elevator industry. Justin Linehan is a third-generation union elevator mechanic, with his grandfather, Bill Linehan, starting his work in the elevator industry in 1960, and his father Bi in 1984, both in Washington DC. Gen-L was founded in February 2022, by Justin and Jaclyn Linehan.
Justin has excelled in multiple projects and has been awarded for his leadership and performance that reflects the highest standards of quality and workmanship throughout his career in construction, modernization, and repair on a variety of elevator and escalator projects. Justin has traveled worldwide for elevator business and education. After 17 years in the elevator industry, he, and his wife Jaclyn, decided that it was time to start an elevator company with Gen-L expertise, dedication, and ethics with customer service that goes above and beyond.
Our mission is to provide quality elevator and escalator services with personal attention to our customers. Gen-L Elevator was founded by Justin and Jaclyn Linehan, from the groundwork of his grandfather that started in 1960. With decades of experience, we hope to have the opportunity to show you the Gen-L difference and assist you with your vertical transportation needs.
